Since its start in founder Aaron Wedeking’s garage over 25 years ago, PRP Seats has remained proudly made in America. Our dedicated team of over 80 employees works full-time crafting custom suspension seats and accessories, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality and comfort.
Aaron founded PRP Seats after recognizing the lack of high-quality suspension seating options in the off-road market. He set out to create a superior seat that offered both durability and comfort, finding early support from iconic off-road retailers like Off-Road Warehouse, B&R Buggy, and Meyers Manx. PRP quickly gained traction, becoming a trusted name among enthusiasts and a formidable competitor alongside industry giants.
The emergence of UTVs like the Polaris RZR and Yamaha Rhino sparked rapid growth in the suspension seat industry, and PRP Seats has been at the forefront of this expansion. In 2013 alone, our sales surged by over 300%, with more than half of our business driven by UTV owners. This success comes from our commitment to listening to customers, understanding their needs, and continuously developing products that enhance the off-road experience.

what is a suspension seat?
The term suspension seat comes from the liner suspended between the steel frame. As the occupant moves up and down, the liner gives, preventing the body from constantly hitting against a hard surface such as those found in stock seats. This provides unparalleled comfort when riding, allowing for longer adventures and less soreness in the muscles and back.
