why choose a prp harness?
PRP harnesses are engineered to meet the demands of a wide variety of applications, from casual use to professional racing. Each harness is designed with purpose-built features to enhance your experience, including adjustable hardware, premium buckle systems, and optional certifications for competition use.
choosing your prp harness
Every driving application requires different features. Here are a few general guidelines to help you select the harness that best fits your needs:
- 5-Point Harnesses – Provides additional safety and containment, particularly in high-speed or off-road environments. Required for many racing applications.
2-Inch vs. 3-Inch Belts – 3-inch belts offer broader surface area and increased upper body support. 2-inch belts are lighter and more flexible, often preferred for comfort and ease of adjustment.
EZ Adjusters – Designed for quick and effortless tightening or loosening of belts, especially convenient when making adjustments on the go or while wearing gloves.
SureLatch vs. Camlock Buckles – SureLatch buckles offer a strong, reliable locking mechanism with a secure feel, commonly used in general-purpose and off-road applications. Camlock buckles provide a faster, more ergonomic release and are ideal for high-performance or competition-focused vehicles.

A PRP harnesses keep you secure during off-road and high-performance driving, offering superior safety and stability compared to standard seat belts.
Installation varies by vehicle and model. Refer to the installation guide included with your harness or visit our website for instructions and video tutorials.
Adjust the harness so it fits snugly but comfortably. The lap belt should sit low on your hips, and shoulder straps should be tight enough to prevent excessive movement.
Use a mild soap and water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Inspect regularly for wear and replace worn components immediately.
Some PRP harnesses are SFI-certified. Check out our SFI-Certified Race Harnesses Here!
PRP harnesses work best with aftermarket seats but may be compatible with factory seats or UTVs. Installation may require a harness bar or additional hardware.
